Rudraksha is the seed of the Eliocarpus Ganitrus tree, which grows at a certain altitude in the mountains. Due to favorable altitude and various weather conditions certain areas of Himalyas grow the best quality.
Did you know Rudraksha is a shield against negative energies? Sadhus in the mountains, to ensure the water or food are not contaminated or poisonous would test by suspending a Rudraksha over it. The Rudraksha will rotate clock-wise for positive energies and anti-clock wise for other wise.
Rudraksha could be worn even while showering and its especially good for cold water to run over the Rudraksha and on your body. Avoid wearing a Rudraksh under warm water or while using chemical soaps as it may become brittle.

Crafted in 18kt gold is a beautiful pendant enveloping a Rudraksha with Ganesha’s trunk holding the modak, right hand holding a lotus bud, digit of the moon and trident of Shiva forming a halo around the head.
