  • Product Description

This charming pendent combining the eight faced rudraksha , the visage of hen Vighnaraja fondling with affection the shivalinga cradled in the digit of the moon. The firmly articulated trident is worn as crest by the lord . The cuddled shivalinga is prominently decorated in relief with the three lines of ash and the third eye , both bejeweled . The sacred mantra suggested for the Swananda Vighnaraja is :Om Gam Ganapataye Namah I (? ?? ?????? ??:|) The eight grooves of the rudraksha denote the eight incarnations of Ganesha ; in these the lord manifested himself in times of calamities faced by the helpless creatures and humans , and even the gods . It is when titans like Krodha (wrath ) , Kama ( lust and desire ) , Matsara ( jealousy ) Abhimana ( pride ) , that infest the minds of people and gods. The result is the six afflictions , viz. i) thirst and ii ) hunger ; iii ) old age and iv) death ; and v ) lament and vi ) infatuation . The control of mind and regulation of intellect produce such waves of bliss that all these afflictions run away from the devotee . For a believer, who wears the pendent and utters the mantra such bliss permeates his existence.
